World Autism Awareness Day

Multicoloured Mayhem Day

Yesterday was Autism Awareness Day throughout New Zealand. To help raise awareness and understanding Waikanae school took part in the Multicoloured Mayhem Day. Everybody was asked to wear multicoloured clothing, some people even coloured their hair to show their support. During lunchtime there was face painting and music on the court.

    I got a shock to see Oscar with a beard! It had rubbed off when I picked him up after school.
    Great to see all these awesome close up photos of Room 2 helping raise awareness and understanding of Autism.
